Zebedee's MOTs
Any car over three years old must pass an annual Ministry of Transport (MOT) test to ensure that it is fit for the road.
An MOT test assesses a number of key areas for inspection, including the steering, brakes, tyres, suspension, electrical equipment, seat belts, exhaust and emissions, windscreen and wipers. Any damage or wear to these areas can pose a risk to the driver, passengers, and other road users.
It is essential to verify that your vehicle displays its Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
Our mechanics are qualified to perform MOT tests on Motorcycles and all vehicles up to and including Class 7 (Class 7 is 3000kg to 3500kg unladen weight).
MOT Grace Period
It is important to note that there is no grace period for an MOT. Once expired, it is illegal to drive on the road or tax the vehicle without a current MOT certificate. Driving an expired vehicle may result in prosecution and may put others at risk.
